It may not be Wednesday, but personally I find waffles a worthy breakfast treat ANY day of the week. Today's post is brought to us by blogging friends from way out west: Waffles on Wednesday! Fetch yourself some of Canadia's finest organic maple syrup, tighten that bathrobe belt, slip on those reading glasses, and enjoy! -------------------- We've discussed real estate a couple times on our blog, and we've even gotten a bit of a reputation for being anti-real estate. Given that we live in one of the most bloated real estate markets in the country, it's hard not to have it come up in … [Read more...] about Why You Should NEVER Buy a House

Going it alone. It's a familiar thing. We think we know what we're doing until a light bulb goes off. Sadly and so often, that bulb doesn't illuminate until we've failed at X, Y, or Z. That's why having a team of experts to steer you clear of failure is vital when it comes to optimizing and protecting your investments and assets. But my right eye has been a laggard, taking its sweet time to heal from 20/30 to barely 20/20 four months on... The first 24-48 hours after my PRK procedure weren't that rough at all. I … [Read more...] about PRK Laser Eye Surgery – My Story
Look at the latest articles on the wire about personal finance these days, and you'd think we've stumbled across the greatest discovery since Einstein declared that e=MC2. How I paid off $XX,XXX in debt is now a headline worthy read? I suppose if you wanted to, you could create a whirlwind of virality with a post on how to tie your shoes with your eyes closed. I guess we'll never know until we create a pin for it, will we? Suffice it to say, paying off debt is NOT rocket science! Debt sucks. And anymore, we get saddled with negative figures for a whole host of mainly well-intended things. … [Read more...] about Paying off Debt Is Not Rocket Science
